This isn't about becoming someone new. It's about coming home - to your feet, your breath, your belly, your heart - and remembering what it feels like to be fully, vibrantly alive in your own skin.

Over three rich days, through movement, breathwork, sound, touch, stillness and profound insight, you'll easily reconnect with your whole mind/body as the doorway it always was - to vitality, presence, pleasure, boundaries, self-worth and joy.

No performance. No fixing. Just permission - to feel, to dream, and to come back to life. It's through your body that you do live your best life - so choosing this is choosing new pathways of opening into your body, and living your best life.

Coming Alive is open to any and all - and it will speak most deeply to you if:

No experience with breathwork, movement or somatic practice is needed. Come as you are. Your body already knows the way.

The Journey

Three Days, Three Portals

Each day works through a different doorway of the body - from the ground up. This is embodied learning: felt first, understood second, and designed to keep working long after you leave. We teach you techniques that will support you your whole lifetime.

Day One

ROOT the body as portal

We begin at the ground. How your body senses itself and the world - and how those patterns quietly shape your perception, reactions and holding over time.

  • Sacred space, ancient movement practices, intention and breath to open the retreat
  • Grounding through the feet - these underappreciated foundations will receive more love, including expert fascia release, ancestral connection, walking with freedom
  • Intend who you are becoming with more specificity and somatic awareness than ever before, with future-self visioning through magical scripting
  • A transformative, spacious breath and sound journey to allow more of your own inner wisdom to flourish and flow

Day Two

DIGEST food & life

The belly is where we take life in - food, experience, emotion. Day two is about digesting all of it well, and reclaiming the boundaries that make that possible.

  • Expert fascial abdominal release and vagal nerve care to completely shift inflammatory load and tension patterns
  • Activation and appreciation of slowed-down, sensory mindful practices - remembering how to BE over how to DO
  • Boundaries and consent as somatic skills - practising a clean yes and a clean no, in the body, so overgiving and overwhelm become less prevalent

RISE heart & worth

With the ground beneath you and your centre reclaimed, the heart can open. Day three is celebration, worth and integration - so everything you've gathered goes home with you.

  • Ways to open into receiving more of your own love, enough-ness, deservingness - permission to move freely and be moved
  • Heart-space release as a felt, repeatable state
  • Moving deeper into love with a second, layered breath and sound journey

How the Days Feel

Real Body Work, Real Transformation

This is not a sit-and-listen retreat, and it's not three days of lectures. Everything is experienced in the body - taught through story, practised together, and simple enough to take home. Expect a rhythm of:

Movement

Qi Gong, fascia release, hands-on self-massage and free dance - gentle, powerful, and open to every body.

Breath & Sound

Guided breathwork journeys with live soundscape - spacious, nourishing and deeply restorative.

Insight

Lesser-known body wisdom - nervous system, stress response, fascia, energy flow, digestion, boundaries - explained simply and made practical.

Connection

Sharing circles, shared meals and the company of women on the same threshold. Community is the point.

Why This Work Goes So Deep

Your Body Is Listening

Running through your entire body is a continuous, living web of connective tissue called fascia - wrapping every muscle, organ and nerve, and carrying more sensory information than almost any other system you have. It is, quite literally, how your body speaks to itself.

Years of stress, holding and pushing through cause this web to tighten and bind. The lines of communication dull. And when your body can't hear itself clearly, you feel it everywhere - as anxiety with no obvious cause, as bracing you can't switch off, as feeling strangely distant from yourself.

This is why the body work in this retreat is so profound. When fascia opens, the whole conversation changes:

  • The lines of communication reopenSignal flows freely again between body and brain - clarity, intuition and felt sense come back online.
  • The nervous system settlesHeld tissue keeps the body on guard. Released tissue tells the nervous system it's safe - and anxiety softens from the inside, not through willpower.

The Setting

St Helens, Tasmania

On Tasmania's stunning east coast - gateway to the Bay of Fires, with its white sand, turquoise water and famous orange-lichened boulders. Sea air, slow mornings and wild beauty do half the work of a retreat before we even begin.

Venue: To be announced - registered participants will be the first to know.

Fly into Launceston (approx. 2 hours' drive) or Hobart (approx. 3.5 hours) - or make it a proper Tasmanian escape and road trip your way here.

Food is Provided

Beautiful vegetarian and vegan food, prepared with care. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided on days one and two, and morning tea and lunch on day three. Please note any allergies in your expression of interest.

Accommodation

Accommodation is arranged separately, so you can choose what suits you - and we're currently sourcing special accommodation deals for participants. It's a public holiday long weekend in Tasmania, so we recommend booking early. Registered participants will receive our accommodation guide first.

The Days

Days one and two run approximately 9am to 5pm. Day three closes at 3pm, leaving time to travel home - or linger a little longer on the coast.

Pia is the founder of Wholeness Medicine, with more than 30 years of clinical experience spanning dermal therapy, naturopathy, yoga, somatics, breathwork and quantum biology. She has taught and presented across Australia and internationally - but her deepest work happens in rooms like this one, where science meets soul and the body leads the way.

Coming Alive draws together everything she knows about how the body actually changes - not through willpower or information, but through felt experience, repeated gently, in good company.
